About the Tour
In this tour we will discover the main sights of the portuguese capital
We begin our tour with the pick up at your hotel in Fátima at 8:30 a.m.
Stop 1
Lisbon Downtown - Our first destiny is the Edward VII park, this park was named after the british King after he visited Lisbon in 1902. In this iconic place we will enjoy a magnific panoramic view before descending to the downtown. We will stop at the Restauradores and Rossio plazas to sightseeing and learn about the history and transformation after the 1755 earthquake.
Stop 2
Lisbon Cathedral and Churh of Saint Antony of Lisbon - Built on an old mosque after the taking of the city to the moors, the cathedral managed to resist to the 1755 earthquake. It is the oldest church in Lisbon and we can find in it a great mix of architectural styles.
Before the lunch we will visit he Church of Saint Antony of Lisbon, built in the place where the saint was born.
Stop 3
Belém - In our last stop we will visit the iconic tower of Belém and the Jerónimos monastery, both monuments are classified as UNESCO world heritage sites since 1983. The tower of Belém was built in the Manueline style as part of the defense system of the Tagus basin.
Close to the tower it is located the Jerónimos Monastery, also built in the same Manueline style. In the monastery, besides its beauty and grandeur we will find the tombs of two of the most important figueres in portuguese history, the epic poet Luís de Camões and the navigator Vasco da Gama.
And to close our visit to Lisbon there is nothing better than a visit to the old Confeitaria de Belém to taste a famous and delicious pastel de Belém.

Cristo Rei - If you wish, we can also visit the National Shrine of Cristo Rei in Almada. It is a unique place to enjoy the magnificent panoramic view across the city of Lisbon.
Return to Fátima
Finished the tour we will arrive at Fátima around 6:30 p.m.
